Behind the Zine

Here’s a glimpse into the process behind the illustrations intended for Anima, The Zine. Created primarily in Photoshop, these pieces explore texture, layering, and raw, hand-drawn elements that align with the zine’s personal and imperfect aesthetic. While not all made it into the final cut, each illustration offers insight into the experimental and evolving process that shaped the visual story of Anima.

Note: Since creating Anima, I’ve transitioned into graphic design and now understand the importance of using Illustrator for vector work. To improve these illustrations, I would refine them in Illustrator for cleaner lines and scalability, balancing my original, expressive style with professional design standards.
